The Salt, the Honey, the Goat was shown at the Remai Modern in Saskatoon as part of the Borderlands Biennial. It included a performance with goats, country singers, and beekeepers. Drawings, boiled wool pennants, paper scale models and schematics of the trading project of goats and honey were shown in the museum while the goats were milked on the museum’s veranda. A related project called Salt Mines and Other Stories About Work, Milk and Trade was a related exhibition project at Bookartbookshop in London. Books, drawings, and ephemera in the exhibition included those published by 303 Gallery, New York; Walther Konig, Cologne; Space Poetry, Copenhagen; YYZ Books, Toronto, and Black Dog, London. The artist thanks the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council for their generous support.
