The IKEA Playlist Kit for Primates consists of IKEA style instructions of how to build a guard tower and a prison cell as well as an orange playlist of the songs played to prisoners at several extraterritorial prison camps including that at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Each kit also contains three vinyl LP records. All Six items are contained in a handsome foil stamped archival box. The boxed edition measures 12 x 12 x 1.5″ (31 x 31 x 4 cm). When unfolded the three prints in the edition measure 48 x 24″ (122 x 61 cm; 36 x 24″ (92 x 61 cm); and 24 x 24″ (61 x 61 cm) respectively. The project is also known as Guard Tower Plans, Prison Cell Plans, and the Songs of Guantanamo Bay.
